名称与沿革[edit]

因辖区处在东门桥东面，称桥东。居民委员会于1992年4月4日成立，2001年4月更名为桥东社区居民委员会。[1]

区域与人口[edit]

社区东起太古城，南到肉联厂公路，西至东门大桥，北以深汕高速公路为界，面积约0.8平方公里，设4个居民小组。据该页，常住人口约6352人。辖区内有古屋派出所、淡水第五小学、桥东小学和一所幼儿所，另有银行、邮电所、市场。[1]
