水上社区是惠州市惠城区汝湖镇镇中心区内的一个社区，居民原本多是东江上的渔民。[1]

社区名字来自居民的来历：他们从水上的船只迁到岸上定居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

渔民先在1949年结成互助组，1953年3月改办合作社，1956年4月编为渔业队；1958年组建大队，1966年设革命委员会，1979年起设居委会。[1]

文化[edit]

汝湖渔歌由水上社区的渔民用惠州方言演唱，是惠州方言区唯一的淡水民歌，清代中期已有人传唱，2015年被惠州市列为第六批市级非遗项目（传统音乐类）。[2]

2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
