历史沿革[edit]
1951年仍北村民在元兴围祠堂组建贫协，次年下半年设小乡。1956年村内老乌石、元兴围、山仔、田尾、卢村、香山、下塘、元生、小份、铁冶派、南门、新屋、庙前、子尾、新塘、子科、支田等居住点先组成七个小社，1957年下半年并成两个大社，1958年上半年合为一个高级社。1959年下半年，仍北与村头、村尾组成东北营，1960年解散，另设仍北大队；1978年设乡政府，1989年改管理区，1999年成立村委会。[1][2]
文化[edit]
广东省爱国卫生运动委员会2017年10月授予首批「广东省卫生村」称号的村庄中，有仍北村。[1]
