历史沿革[edit]
1950年，新福围属东湖乡，当时辖六个自然村。1958年与长湖（今上围村、下围村一带）合并成立共营村。1962年归东湖大队，辖新福围、古仙、房村、黄村四个自然村，办事点设在新福围。1989年设管理区，1999年改设村民委员会。[1]
