历史沿革[edit]
1946年仍图成立村农会（时属博罗县）；1950年仍图乡分为五个小乡，横山头归仍南乡；1957年办高级社，1958年编入仍图公社；1962年设横山头生产大队，1968年并入仍南大队作一片，1976年起为管理区；1999年撤区，设村委会。[1][2]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，横山头村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
