虾村村是惠州市惠城区汝湖镇的行政村，原名霞村，是汝湖镇的淘宝村之一。[1]
相传清代中晚期，有李姓人赶鸭群经过这里，天空正现彩霞，鸭群停下不走，放鸭人便在此安家，因霞而名霞村；1958年因谐音改作虾村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年以前汝湖设新联乡，霞村办过初级社和高级社；1958年人民公社化，设虾村生产大队。1975年之前归博罗县，其后汝湖划入惠城区；1981年区公所体制下虾村为乡，1983年改管理区，1999年撤区建村，成立村委会。[1]

虾村村在2020年、2021年、2022年连续列入阿里研究院等机构公布的淘宝村名单。[1]
