历史沿革[edit]
解放后先属汝湖第六区，1953年划入仍南乡；1956年办南新小社，1958年入人民公社。1963年同横山头、沙洲尾并为仍南大队，到1986年才各自分开，南新设管理区，1999年4月改设村委会。[1]
