新圩社区是广东省肇庆市德庆县新圩镇下辖的社区，镇政府驻地，位于镇区中心，东面与县城相连。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区于2002年成立。名称来自圩市：清乾隆十五年（1750年）建圩，当时附近已有官圩、马圩和高良圩，这一处便称新圩。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区东连县城，西接山咀村，南到新圩村，北至格木村，距县城区约1公里，与县城龙母大街相接，占地约5平方千米。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，辖区有居民1887户，常住人口7860人（未注年份）。[1]

经济[edit]

社区依托县里支持和镇的规划，发展辖区内的工商业。[1]2019年9月，新圩社区入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
