历史沿革[edit]
辖区里最大的自然村叫官车村，村名由此而来，1998年经县政府批准设立。解放前归金林大乡，解放初归马圩的大安乡，1956年划入河口大乡；1958年10月成为新圩人民公社所辖的一个生产大队。1977年新设河口公社（后称石角公社、石角区），官车改归其管；1983年称官车乡，1986年11月石角区撤销，官车并入新圩镇，成为官车管理区，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]

下辖10个村民小组，有农户487户、总人口2296人（未注年份）。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地面积1641亩，距县城区约10公里；村集体靠发包固定资产和种植柑橘增加收入。[1]2019年9月，村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
