历史沿革[edit]
所辖范围处在一片开阔的大垌，起初叫大垌，「垌」字后来演变成「同」。[1]1958年由金林乡改为马圩人民公社的大同大队；1976年划给河口人民公社石角区，称大同乡；1987年归入新圩镇，1998年起为大同村民委员会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
下辖12个村民小组，有农户427户、总人口1869人（未注年份）；山地9500亩，耕地1333亩（含水田980亩）。[1]
文化[edit]
12个村民小组都创建了生态文明村。此外，田头村、雷霞村、新村、塘铺村、寿地垠、新寨、下旺维塘村先后评为省级卫生村。村里还开通了行政村公交。[1]
