新圩镇是广东省肇庆市德庆县下辖的镇，在县境南部，紧挨县城，南面濒临西江，是新、旧国道321线的交汇处。[1][2]全镇下辖1个社区和11个行政村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名来自民国时期在此设立的一处新集市，当地人称之为「新圩」。[1]1949年12月这里设第一区；1956年12月改设新圩乡；其后在1958年9月划入红十月公社，次年6月单设新圩公社；公社于1983年9月改制为区，到1986年11月建镇。[1]

位于镇区的新圩社区与新圩村，据当地资料，圩市建于清乾隆十五年，当时附近已有官圩、马圩和高良圩，这一处便取名「新圩」。[4]官车村原属石角区一带，1986年11月石角区撤销后并入新圩镇。[5]

地理环境[edit]

新圩镇在德庆县南部，南临西江，水路经康州港，向上可通广西梧州，向下可达珠江三角洲。陆路上，新、旧国道321线在镇内交汇，县内北部山区各镇进出县城多经此地，镇区处在县城与各镇之间的交通枢纽位置。[1][2]全镇总面积约138平方千米，辖11个村民委员会、96个自然村。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网转载的镇情介绍，全镇总人口23601人（该介绍未注年份）；根据第七次全国人口普查结果，2021年6月公布的常住人口约2.4万人，在德庆县各街道乡镇中居第7位。[1][2]

经济[edit]

新圩镇以农业为主。镇情介绍称，镇情介绍列出三个中心（圩镇的商业、经济、文化）、格木、西景山、河口三片工业区，农业上则有水果、蔬菜、桑蚕、鱼塘、林业和优质水稻六个基地，其中大同的万亩果园居首；矿产有稀土、花岗岩和矿泉水，行业有化工、农药、饮料、建材制品和农产品加工。[2]

2006年，全镇生产总值34686.6万元，农民人均纯收入5307元；乡镇企业20家，从业人员672人，工业产品包括木制品、鱼藤氰系列农药、棉纱、活性炭和油漆。当年全镇种植贡柑、沙糖桔2万多亩，其中1万多亩已挂果，年产量约2万吨；养殖山地鸡38万只、优质鸭18.3万只。商业、服务业和交通运输业共640个经营单位。[2]

2020年8月，新圩镇列入广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批省级「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇，产业为何首乌；2020年2月，新圩镇获2019年度广东省卫生镇称号。[1]历麻村的小黄瓜入选首批省「一村一品」专业村。[6]
