历史沿革[edit]

村子位于桥头的中心，交通便利，被喻为当地的一颗耀眼的星，村名由此而来。[1]

1956年合并小社，成立金星高级社；1960年起称金星生产大队；1971年起称金星乡；1978年起称金星管理区；1998年改为金星村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村里发展蔬菜培育基地，在镇内属蔬菜培育面积较大的村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，金星村列入省民主法治示范村（社区）2018年度创建单位；2026年1月，获评第二批广东省百千万工程典型村。[1]
