六竹村是桥头镇的行政村之一，位于肇庆市怀集县，在桥头镇北面，距圩镇约10公里，面积17平方千米，下有17个村民小组，居民3437人（该页未注明年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
六竹村民委员会于1998年11月由怀集县人民政府批准成立（怀发〔1998〕20号），驻地是六竹村，村名即由此而来。[1]
1979年起称六竹大队；1983年6月起称六竹乡；1987年3月起称六竹行政村；1989年起称六竹管理区；1998年改为六竹村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里山林资源多，种有600多亩沙糖桔，并利用石山资源养殖石山羊。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，列入省民主法治示范村（社区）2018年度创建单位。[1]
