塘坑村是广东省茂名市化州市合江镇下辖的行政村，在镇的北部，分13个村民小组。[1]村民委员会自述（未注年份）：登记622户、2720人，总面积5.1平方千米，耕地2460亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国前期归陵罗乡，1949年后归化六区。人民公社化的1958年，塘坑公社下设塘坑大队；1983年设区公所，该地叫塘坑乡；1987年建镇，改设村民委员会；1989年一度称管理区办事处，1999年重称村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

据村民委员会自述，该村地处南亚热带，年平均气温23℃、年降雨量1920毫米；主要经济作物为稻谷、蚕桑。上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入992.8万元。[1]村里引入资金300多万元建起刨花厂两家，据称解决了村民就业；另修水泥路3公里。[1]
