丹彰村是高州市潭头镇的行政村，新中国成立前后曾是丹彰区公所、丹彰乡的驻地[1]。
地名由来[edit]
此地原是荒坡，叫「仁头坡」，因谐音「人头坡」不吉利而改称「仁厚坡」；坡对面住人的地方叫「丹皮」村，后来村民搬出坡地居住，觉得「丹皮」无好意，又见「彰」字左边是「立」和「早」，寓意好，便改称「丹彰」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
解放前设丹彰区公所，解放后设丹彰乡；1961年公社化，立为大队；到1983年又称乡，1986年起为农村管理区，1999年起为丹彰村民委员会[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
