中和村位于广东省茂名市高州市长坡镇，属镇下辖的村民委员会[1]。村所在地四面高、中间低，原称中蜗，后改为中和。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据地名志类资料，1961年后从石坟大队分立设大队，以村名为大队名。1983年起称乡，1986年称农村管理区，1999年后为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]
  • 2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]
  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」[1]
