雷垌村位于广东省茂名市高州市长坡镇，属镇下辖的村民委员会[1]。此处原为雷姓聚居，明代一场瘟疫使雷姓绝迹，后有冼姓人从电白迁入，仍沿用雷垌之名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

人民公社化之前隶属良艺乡；公社化之后属西埇区；1961年区建制取消后，以良艺社为基础设大队，因大队驻雷垌村而称雷垌大队；1961至1963年间曾拆分为雷垌、良艺两小队，1964年复合。1983年起称乡，1986年称农村管理区，1999年后为村民委员会。[1]
