龙塘村是徐闻县龙塘镇的行政村，在镇境中部，也是镇政府驻地所在，面积18.63平方公里，下辖石盆、陈宅、那湾、安留等17个自然村，村委会设在龙塘圩。[1][2]

概况[edit]

2004年，村内1015户、5226人，耕地13189亩，工农业总产值2890万元；有小学12所、初中2所。[2]村内有集贸市场、农副产品和北调蔬菜瓜果交易市场、一家大型酒精厂和香蕉专业交易市场。[2]

村的建制先后为：1958年设龙塘大队，1984年称龙塘乡，1986年称村委会，1988年称管理区，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]

历史遗迹[edit]

1950年解放海南岛战役期间，那板村设有野战军医院；至今那板村和安留村还留有40多座渡海牺牲战士的坟墓，建有烈士纪念碑。[2]2019年9月，龙塘村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
