地名由来[edit]
传说八仙中的铁拐李用拐杖打向正在嬉戏的三条龙，其中一条白龙受惊，飞落此地，村子由此叫白龙塘，后改为白泥塘，新中国成立后定名龙塘。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1966年5月，龙塘生产大队从平潭公社划出，归马安公社管委会；1983年11月社改区，改为龙塘乡；1987年1月撤区设镇，撤乡立龙塘管理区，后来改称龙塘村委会。[2]
经济与荣誉[edit]
2021年9月，龙塘村入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为葡萄。2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年4月列入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1]
马安镇政府称，龙塘村的葡萄园是镇内新兴的游览点。[3]
