东角村是徐闻县龙塘镇的行政村，在镇境东北部，东临南海，南濒琼州海峡，面积9.38平方公里，下辖东角、大家、坡尾、那汤等7个自然村，村委会驻东角村。[1]
概况[edit]
2004年，全村560户2807人，耕地4602亩，农业总产值1896万元；有小学5所。[1]境内以沙壤土为主，据称含褐铁矿、钛锆砂矿、硅藻土、石英砂和锡矿等矿产。[1]
1958年设东角大队，1984年改称乡，1986年称村委会，1988年称管理区，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
湛江市2020年度全市文明村的名单（2021年1月公布）里有东角村；2023年5月，7个自然村全部获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
