龙塘村是高要区莲塘镇的行政村，在莲蛟线公路一侧，距莲塘镇5千米，辖8个村民小组，人口共1389人（据博雅地名网），在全镇各村中位置较偏。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1964年以前属罗勒大队；1964年由罗勒大队分出罗勒、龙塘两个大队，属莲塘公社；1983年大队改为乡，1987年乡改为村委会，1989年又改为管理区，1998年复称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村在丘陵岗地上，村民养猪、养鱼，近年部分农户改种柑桔、火龙果。据博雅地名网，村集体收入有限，日常开支靠下属自然村上调的款项维持。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
