大滘村为江门市新会区会城街道所辖的行政村，在新会区与江门市区交界处，面积约2平方千米，农业人口1780人，下设8个生产队，以徐、杨、周、屈四姓为主。古称大悦滘。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

村落在江会路与南环路交汇处，距新会轻轨站1.5公里，临江门水道。村经济以土地出租和传统农业为主，种新会柑、水稻和瓜菜，近年推动陈皮产业走向市场化。[1]

文化[edit]

龙舟是村里的传统：1982年起造龙舟，2018年重建青年龙舟队，端午仍保留洗龙舟水和竞渡。村里有宋忠尚书徐公祠、屈氏宗祠、康王古庙和四圣宫，设有大滘小学。[1]
