梅江村为江门市新会区会城街道所辖的行政村，位于会城城区南侧，旧称「梅树营」，别称「柑之乡」，面积3.5平方千米，下设12个村民小组，人口4812人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村在银洲湖冲积平原上。1739年（清乾隆四年），这里设水汛派兵驻守；到嘉庆年间陈姓族人迁来垦殖，道光年间成村。村里的青石巷道和石脚屋，仍是清代的格局。[1]

经济[edit]

梅江村是新会陈皮的产区之一，传统种茶枝柑，用「塞口围大红柑」制成的陈皮销往海外。新会柑（陈皮）庄园创建单位名单在2022年把它列入，村内有梅江庄园等3家主体。据百度百科，村总收入1.11亿元，其中农业收入3300万元。[1]
