历史沿革[edit]
此地原是海滨的沙岗，沙源丰富，因而得名。相传清顺治年间梁姓先人在此立村，后因风水问题迁出，黄姓先人迁入，世代居住。[1]
民国时属第二区仙贤乡；1961年成沙岗大队，1984年划入三兴乡，1986年分出自立，1992年并入会城镇，1999年定名沙岗村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村里现有人口380多人，年轻人多外出务工，老年人以务农为主。近年村经济以工业为主，设有1个工业区和1个大型货运物流市场。[1]
