联星社区位于佛山市南海区狮山镇东部，原属罗村街道，毗邻禅城区，面积2.5平方公里，由联胜、红星两个大队合并而来，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据社区介绍，开村在唐朝末年。1952年土地改革第一阶段后设联胜乡，1958年起属幸福人民公社；1964年联胜、红星两个大队合并为联星大队。此后的名称依次是：联星乡人民政府（1983年5月）、村民委员会（1987年10月）、管理区办事处（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年5月），2011年“村改居”后为居民委员会。另据该页，原乐安社区在2013年9月并入联星居委会，同年联星归狮山镇管辖。[2]

经济[edit]

社区有11个村民小组，常住人口5134人，位于桂丹路与广佛325国道、广佛高速公路、佛开高速公路的交汇处。[3]佛山市2024年8月公布的「“百千万工程”第二批典型镇村」名单中有联星社区，2026年1月它又获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]

文化[edit]

乐安花灯会相传与光绪年间一对求子夫妇有关，所坐的“生仔石”据说放在社区的江氏宗祠旁。[4]
