隆北村在广东省汕头市澄海区莲华镇东部，因村委会在旧隆城乡北部而得名，是“二战”时期的革命老区村。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1980年原隆城乡分出隆北大队，1986年改称隆北村。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

2002年全村土地面积0.5197平方千米，耕地563亩，461户1811人，有40个姓氏，张、陈、林等姓较多；村集体经济总收入796万元。[2] 1999年整治机耕道，2001年实施400亩国家农业综合开发项目，改造中低产田。[2] 村里种荔枝、番石榴共22亩，另有食品加工、五金、贝灰等小型企业7家。[2] 1984年投入25万元与隆南、隆华、东光合建报本学校，后来又合建自来水厂。[2]
