历史沿革[edit]
元至元十六年（1279年），高、金、范三姓人家来此择地建村。村落在北溪西南、隆城溪畔，形状像葫芦，隔溪与隆都的西陵山相望，因此得名“溪西”。[1][2][3]
人口与经济[edit]
2002年全村土地面积1.2079平方千米，耕地822亩，614户2394人，有46个姓氏，村集体经济总收入716万元。[2] 村里种番石榴32亩，另有凉果、木艺等小型工业企业15家。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中心的闳远楼建于乾隆十三年（1749年），平面呈方形，边长约40米，是用贝灰土筑成的单层寨楼，楼墙厚约半米，寨内有40间房，寨前有约150平方米的水池。[2]
