新庙村是广东省汕头市潮阳区金灶镇辖下的行政村，位于金灶镇西北部。据博雅地名网转载的村情简介，全村227户、1283人（简介未注明统计年份）。2003年金玉、灶浦两镇合并前，它属灶浦镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：先人从本镇新寮村迁来，定居之前曾留宿庙中，故名新庙。[1]

清康熙年间，先人从新寮村迁到此处建村（简介写作康熙五十七年，公元纪年却记为1720年，两者不相符）。[1]

新中国成立前属直浦都；公社化时期属光锋公社，光锋公社拆分后归灶浦公社；1999年属灶浦镇。[1]

经济[edit]

据村情简介，全村耕地365亩，辖1个自然村。当地主要出产香蕉。近年的荣誉和入选情况：2021年12月获评2021年广东省卫生村。[1]
