深洋村是广东省汕头市潮阳区谷饶镇的行政村，在潮阳城区西北约22公里，位于镇的东北部、小北山南麓，是半山区的革命老区。[1][2]明崇祯年间（1628年至1644年），陈姓祖先从福建白叶迁来创村。[1]辖区内有赤杜岭风景区和被称为花篮祠的梅家祖祠。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村名因村落三面环山、南面为平洋而得；明崇祯年间陈姓祖先自福建白叶迁来立村，此后名称几经更替，先后称大队、乡、村委会、管理区，1999年起沿用现名。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
该页所载，全村7203人，分25个村民小组，总面积4016.22亩，包括居住用地480亩、耕地950.22亩和山地2586亩。[2]村民种植橄榄、柿子、杨梅、龙眼，并办起10家中小企业和40多家家庭作坊，以针织、耳机加工为主。[2]
深洋村在2020年、2021年、2022年连续列入淘宝村名单。[1]此前，2004年评为广东省卫生村，2005年获汕头市文明村称号，2008年又评为生态示范村；2023年1月，司法部、民政部将其命名为第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的赤杜岭风景区，解放战争时期曾是红军驻扎之处，现为村民休闲和缅怀先人的去处。[2]梅家祖祠又名花篮祠，占地建筑560平方米，屋顶四周以嵌瓷装饰花鸟虫鱼和龙虎狮象，墙壁和桁木之间有300多幅木雕、100多屏石雕。[2]祠内有6个整块青石雕成的石花篮，每个高35厘米、直径20厘米；据该页所述，有两个花篮曾在1952年和1959年两度送往北京故宫博物院展览。[2]
