木丹坑村是广东省汕头市潮阳区谷饶镇的行政村。明万历年间（1572年至1620年），祖先到此创村，起初叫木东坑村，后改称木丹坑村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村名缘于村内林木茂盛，东面有一条坑，叫木东坑，潮汕话里“东”与“丹”谐音，后写作木丹坑。[1]明万历年间（1572年至1620年）祖先到此立村；此后名称几经更替，先后称大队、乡、村委会、管理区，1999年起沿用现名。[1]2019年9月，该村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度）名单。[1]
