宅美村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇北部的行政村，在榕江南岸，对岸是揭东区炮台镇，原名宅尾村。[1]

名称与历史[edit]

村在古宅的末端，原称宅尾村，后改雅称。[1]先人于元大德十年（1306年）到此建村；新中国成立后一度划归铜盂，1962年成立宅美大队，隶铜盂公社；1984年起设乡，1986年改村委会，1988年改管理区，1999年再定名村民委员会。[1]

据村简介，全村1708人，耕地476.3亩，距镇中心约6公里，以种稻为主。简介未注明年份。入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布名单）。[1]
