堂后村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇的行政村，在榕江南岸，离镇政府约五公里，是革命老区村，村名因位于厦村大祠堂之后。[1]
名称与历史[edit]
先人于宋咸淳年间（1264年至1274年）到此建村，起名堂后村。[1]1958年公社化时为堂后大队，1984年改设堂后乡，1986年改村委会，1988年改管理区，1999年再定名村民委员会。[1]
村情[edit]
据村简介，全村2500多人、550户，耕地898亩，以种植业为主。2009年建成全村灌溉电动化和U型渠，2010年修了500米硬底化村道。[1]
