田东村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇的行政村，建于清康熙五十二年（1713年），以抽纱产品闻名，列入淘宝村名单。[1][2]

名称与历史[edit]

据博雅地名网，村四周都是水田，原称田中，音近演变为田东。[1]先人于康熙五十二年到此创村；1958年公社化时为田东大队，1984年改设田东乡，1986年改村委会，1988年改管理区，1999年再定名村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村简介称，全村三千多人，耕地750亩，山地950亩，收入主要来自抽纱产品、洗煲加工、外出经商和建筑业，抽纱是传统产业，产品销往国内外。[1][2]田东村在2020年、2021年、2022年连续列入淘宝村名单；入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布名单），广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村（2026年1月公布）。[1]
