玉山村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇南部的行政村，位于榕江南岸，与西胪镇相邻，旧名浮山村。^[1]

名称与历史[edit]

村名的说法是：村境三面环水，中间浮着一座青翠如玉的小山屿，因此得名。^[1]清乾隆年间（约1745年）起名浮山村，1958年公社化时叫浮山大队，到1982年才改叫玉山大队，此后设乡，1999年起为村民委员会。^[1]

据村情介绍，全村620户、3287人，分五个居民小组，耕地898亩，以农业为主，集体经济薄弱。玉山村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布名单）。^[1]
