路外村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇的行政村，因村旁有古驿道官路而得名，明隆庆元年（1567年）由许氏迁来创建。^[1]

名称与历史[edit]

隆庆元年，许氏从澄海樟籍乡迁到此，始建“永安乡”。^[1]1958年公社化时为路外大队，1984年改设路外乡，1986年改村委会，1988年改管理区，1999年再定名村民委员会。^[1]

入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布名单）；以优质稻入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（2021年9月公布）。^[1]
