洋贝村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇的行政村，建于南宋末年，村名由“洋背”雅化而来。[1]
名称与历史[edit]
村子在田洋的后面，原名洋背（或写羊贝），后来雅称洋贝。[1]南宋祥兴二年（1279年）村民到此创村；1958年公社化时为洋贝大队，属关埠公社，1984年改设洋贝乡，1986年改村委会，1988年改管理区，1999年再定名村民委员会。[1]
村情[edit]
据村简介，2009年统计全村4945人、1105户，耕地1206亩，主种水稻、甘蔗、生柑和香蕉，村办有抽纱和灰砖业，1982年村民集资建校舍，旅外乡贤出资建教学楼、修饮水工程和水泥村道。[1]入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布名单）；广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村（2026年1月公布）。[1]
