埔上村是汕头市潮阳区关埠镇西北部的行政村，东临榕江，是革命老区村。^[1]^[2]

名称与历史[edit]

村子建于南宋咸淳年间（1265年至1274年），位置在鲤鱼埔之上，故名埔上。^[1]^[2]1958年公社化时为埔上大队，1984年改设埔上乡，1986年改村委会，1988年改管理区，1999年再定名村民委员会。^[1]村简介说，解放战争期间这里是地下党游击战争的根据地。^[2]

据村简介，全村4680人、1065户，耕地1250亩，分4个片区、10个自然围，种水稻、番薯、香蕉、生柑，兼有抽纱、刺绣等家庭加工。简介未注明年份。^[2]
