新兴社区是深圳市福田区梅林街道下辖的社区。因辖区内有新兴村，以村名为社区名。[1]

概况[edit]

社区工作站2006年5月设立，面积约0.5平方公里，北到梅林路，南到梅华路，东、西分别以梅村路、梅中路为界。区内有荔园阁、碧荔花园、红梅苑等7个住宅小区，另有荔园村、新村、新兴村3个自然村，还有上梅林股份公司、福田区消防中队以及160多家商场和企业。博雅地名网记户数约8500户，总人口约22752人，其中常住7569人、暂住15183人（统计年份未注明）。[1]

荔园阁、碧荔花园两个小区获评绿色小区。社区内另有群众艺术馆梅林基地、一所省一级中学、一所民办中小学、2所幼儿园和2家大型商场，并有成片的荔枝林和上梅林文体公园。社区自述曾获「市绿色社区」「六好平安和谐社区」等称号，并参与过国家卫生城市、全国文明城市的创建。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

新兴居委会1992年10月成立，2002年居改社后，改称新兴社区居民委员会。2022年3月，它列入首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区名单，另于2019年9月列入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2018年度）。[1]
