历史沿革[edit]
清道光年间称赛洞坑；1951年立赛洞乡，1958年立赛洞大队；1983年起先后并入柯木乡、柯木村委会、柯木管理区，1992年恢复独立建制，1998年10月成为赛洞村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村分为16个村民小组，居民合计1870多人，地处高山地带，沙糖桔和蘑菇是特色产业，95%的农户种沙糖桔，村民共种2000多亩。[1]2012年10月，赛洞被确定为第五批「全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2022年1月又成为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
