梅林一村社区面积约5平方公里，北至梅林水库，南起梅林路，西到梅山中学，东到梅林10号路，人口约26000人（博雅地名网，年份未注明）。这是深圳市政府自己开发的大型住宅区，居民中公务员较多。据百度百科，梅林一村由深圳市住宅局开发，1998年4月竣工，建筑面积80万平方米，有6840套住宅，建设时留下了原有的荔枝林，有「亚洲第一村」之称。[1]
据博雅地名网，梅林一村的住宅区曾获「全国城市优秀示范小区」「广东省文明社区」「广东省青年文明号」「深圳市安全文明小区」等称号，并接待过海内外参观者2万多人次。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
梅林一村居民委员会设立于1998年10月，2002年4月27日改称梅林一村社区居委会。2022年8月，它列入第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区名单，2025年5月，又列为全国示范性老年友好型社区的创建对象（2025—2026年度）。[1]
