鹿田村隶属广东省广州市从化区鳌头镇，为镇辖行政村，村委会设在镇域东部。[1] 全村面积约8平方公里，村民小组共21个，村委会介绍的总人口为2130人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约13公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约15公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，鹿田大队建立于1958年；1976年归民乐茶场管辖，名称变为左鹿田农业管理区；到2004年定名鹿田村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

旧时这一带荒无人烟，野鹿成群，村名由此而来。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，鹿田村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2024年11月，鹿田村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
  • 2026年1月，鹿田村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1] 村集体经济方面，村集体增收靠引进的新栋力电子厂项目和羊城花卉基地两个项目。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

鹿田村与西塘村、横坑村组成西塘童话特色小镇，规划面积4.8平方千米，是广州市首批30个特色小镇之一，并列入第三批省级特色小镇培育库。[2]
