沙迳村在行政区划上属从化区鳌头镇，是该镇的一个行政村，村委会设在镇域西部。[1] 全村面积约5.3平方公里，村民小组共13个，村委会介绍的总人口为1826人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约26公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约6公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，1958年建立沙迳大队，到1983年12月，归入凤岐乡，到1987年1月分出后改名沙迳村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]
荣誉与名单
- 2021年9月，沙迳村（玫瑰葡萄）列入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单。[1]
经济[edit]
村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的大围门楼、望仔社民居群、望中里门楼、新围社传统民居群，共4处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
