岐田村隶属广东省广州市从化区鳌头镇，为镇辖行政村，村委会设在镇域南部。[1] 全村面积约13平方公里，村民小组共12个，村委会介绍的总人口为1120人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约25公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约5公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，1958年建立大队时，岐田一带取名茂墩，设茂墩村委会；1983年12月归入象新，改设为乡；1987年1月起称村民委员会，此后沿用。[1]
荣誉与名单
- 2019年9月，岐田村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
