白兔村在行政区划上属从化区鳌头镇，是该镇的一个行政村，村委会设在镇域中部。[1] 全村面积约3.5平方公里，村民小组共18个，村委会介绍的总人口为2530人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约18公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约1公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立白兔大队，到1983年12月改设为白兔乡，到1987年1月改名白兔村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，白兔村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2020年8月，白兔村（白玉花生）列入「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单。[1]
  • 2023年5月，白兔村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]
  • 2024年11月，白兔村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
  • 2025年6月，白兔村被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]

村里的农业格局为：山地栽种，水田种水稻、蔬菜和花生等。[1] 村集体经济方面，村集体增收靠引进的政业铸件厂项目、海钠川机械厂项目和广盛塑料厂等三个项目。[1]
