历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立中塘大队，到1983年12月，归入人和改设为乡，到1987年1月分出后改名中塘村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2021年9月，中塘村（从化香米）列入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单。[1]
  • 2023年5月，中塘村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]

村里的农业格局为：山地栽种，水田种水稻、蔬菜和花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]

镇的介绍把中塘丝苗米列为当地特色吃食；2021年9月，中塘村以从化香米入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1][2]
