蓝田村在赤坭镇的南部（西南部），土地总面积15.6平方千米，可耕地6400多亩，另有山林一万多亩。[1]村内的新村保存着约100座古民居，2015年入选第四批广东省古村落。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村地势低洼，旧时常遭水淹，泥土长年被冷水浸泡，村民称为“烂田”，后取谐音雅化为“蓝田”。[1][2]明末清初建村；1963年与新村、中洞合并，1983年由新村、蓝田、中洞三条自然村合并为一个行政村，1984年为蓝田乡，1987年设立蓝田村委会，先隶属赤坭区公所，当年3月起归赤坭镇人民政府管辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

新村坐西朝东，布局为广府民居常见的梳式，建筑之间以冷巷相隔；村前有半月形水塘，村后是十八岭。南北两端为陈姓、李姓两座祠堂，两祠之间有10列民居和家塾。[2]村内古建筑有节孝流芳牌坊、清宇黄公祠等，另有巨声家祠、云仕公祠、庆贤乡约、廖氏家塾等。[3]

经济[edit]

村内可耕地中，鱼塘2300亩、水田1700亩、花木地2400亩，水产养殖和苗木花卉是主要收入。[1]村前百亩农田种植油菜花，吸引外地游客。[2]蓝田紫林·童心小镇总投资8.9亿元，规划面积约3000亩，2024年蓝田村集体收入1464万元，同比增长17.3%。[4]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2014年，被评为花都区生态农业示范园；2016年被评为广州市第三批美丽乡村。[2]
  • 广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，产业为休闲农业（2020年8月公布）。[1]
  • 2020年，入选“广州最美村庄”。[5]
  • 2023年11月被列为广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村之一。[1]
