关于名称：旧时村中有一片良田，禾苗葱绿，因此叫蓝田[2]。
据该网辑录的资料，蓝田村明代称长窖社蓝田村，清代称长治甲蓝田；1958年10月时编为埔城公社蓝田大队，至1961年1月时属长治公社，至1986年12月时为长治乡蓝田村[3]。
