道悦村由道悦、蓝田、塘基山3条自然村组成，南邻新桥中学，北靠广海北线公路，离新桥不满半公里。[1]

据博雅地名网转载的村介绍，村有2694人、758户，果园和鱼塘数百亩；新中国成立前村民除手工编织、竹器加工外，还开茶楼酒楼、肉店、百货和蔬菜买卖。村内建有环形公路。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年办初级社、高级社，称道悦乡，属高要四区，1955年改隶新桥区；1958年立道悦大队。后来依次为乡（1983年）、村委会（1986年）、管理区（1989年），1998年起为村民委员会。[1]
