农光村是广州市花都区花东镇西部的行政村，辖区面积1.4平方千米，共有5个经济社，村委会介绍的总人口为785人（未注明年份）[1]。
地名由来与沿革[edit]
村名寄托着「农村从此光荣」的愿望。它原叫大水坑村，1955年起叫农光村。它在1963年归入阳升村，1979年再分出来，仍称农光；1987年1月设村委会，3月归花东镇[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村集体经济薄弱，靠出租土地、厂房、山地，年收入约6万元（未注明年份）[1]。2023年8月获评「2022年度广州市美丽乡村」，2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
