竹湖村是广州市花都区花东镇的行政村，在山前旅游大道以南约1公里，面积约1平方千米，下辖5个经济社，村委会介绍的总人口为1350余人（未注明年份），离市区约20公里[1]。
地名由来与沿革[edit]
村旁有一片湖，岸边长着黄竹，因此叫竹湖。1987年1月，花东区公所设竹湖村委会，3月归花东镇[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村集体经济发展较慢，村里希望靠富力地产项目带动，并计划筹资兴建村市场[1]。2020年至2022年列入「淘宝村」名单，2024年6月入选「2023年度广州市美丽乡村」，2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」[1]。
